With growing season upon us lets talk about making your own salsas. One of the easiest salsas one can make is a Salsa Verde. Its cheaper than store bought and holds incredible deep flavors.
The best part about homemade salsas is you can add anything you’d like too. Remember recipes are meant to be a guide line, use your flavor preferences and create what your family will love.
I love doing this on my Traeger Grill but you can do this recipe in your oven if you don’t have a grill or smoker at home. If using the oven just remember to put them on a baking sheet. Roast those veggies, the more you char, the more flavors you’ll develop.
Remove from heat, dehusk and peel!
BLEND!! BLEND!! BLEND!!
Once its done you can jar it and keep it for 14 days, or can it. (if canning you’ll need to add some vinegar and sugar.
