How many of you have wanted to create a simple yet delicious bourbon or whiskey glaze for your wild game steaks?
Here is my super simple and fool proof recipe when It comes to my favorite bourbon glaze.

Bourbon Glaze
Ingredients:
2 cups bourbon or whiskey
¾ cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp cracked pepper
1 tbsp molasses
3/4 cup brown sugar
Directions:
- In medium skillet add 1 cup of bourbon over med-high heat, ignite bourbon and burn off all alcohol. When the bourbon has stopped flaming, add the 2nd cup and ignite and burn off alcohol same as before.

- Reduce heat to medium and add soy sauce immediately after flames burns out.
- Add molasses, honey & Worcestershire and whisk until combined
- Add garlic and pepper, mixing well.
- Add brown sugar and continue whisking as its melts. Reduce heat to low and whisk until sauce begins to thicken, about 2 mins.
- Remove from heat and give 1 minute to rest before you use as glaze, or store in airtight container for up to 7 days.

Dude I made that recipe and added a touch of ginger. I put it over a dutch oven wild boar shoulder. I used Hennessy cognac. And it was a knock it out of the park meal!
dude that’s amazing to hear! Ginger sounds like a killer touch
