Loaded Wild Turkey Fries
(Using Legs and thighs)
Ingredients:
2 turkey legs
2 turkey thighs
1 can of Coke or DP
1 can beer
½ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
3 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp cracked pepper
4 cloves garlic, smashed
½ white onion, sliced
2 cups BBQ sauce
Fries:
1 bag of your favorite fries
Toppings:
Beans
Cilantro
Onions
Cheese
Sour cream
BBQ sauce
Any of your favorites
Directions:
- In slow cooker add all ingredients minus 1 cup of BBQ sauce.
- Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
- Pull out the bones and leg tendons that have now turned hard like bones. Shred meat back into slow cooker until ready to eat
- Cook fries according to packaging
- Pull meat from slow cooker and toss it with remaining BBQ sauce, top your fries and go crazy customizing it how you see fit.
