September 22nd is National Hunting and Fishing day. This review is here just in time to help you figure out what to do with your harvested game when back at home and how to keep it fresh for many meals to come.
When I review products I always use the same 4 categories. Below you will see each category and the pros & cons.
- Appearance:
At first glance the Big Game Sealer looks great. Grips on bottom and back to keep it in place while sealing. The easy to carry handle make carrying it simple and easy. The black color and large buttons have a clean simple look.

Large easy to push buttons
Black easy to clean surface
Beautiful logo
Plug and cord storage in back for easy storage
Vacuum roll storage with easy lift lid.
Removable drip tray
Tips:
Wish the cutting tool had a lock option to keep it on one side during sealing. I noticed if you did not push it hard to one side it moved while sealing.
2. Affordability:
The price point on this unit is 199.99
Pros:
It can be purchased at many different stores and you can find it on sale.

3. Performance:
Pros:
The unit is quiet
Having a built-in cutter makes creating bags on the go quick and easy
Bag storage works well
Having a 12-volt car plug is a plus for sealing on the go while out in the field or on the boat.
Strong seal when used with dry bag
Update! After receiving a new unit we got 60 seals before we needed a cool down, this is way more than an average person would need in one sitting.
Tips:
Does not make a ding or let you know when it’s done sealing other than LED lights. Unless you’re paying attention, you do not realize it’s finished.
You have to lock and unlock the lid before and after each use. This gets messy when you’re doing a lot of bags of meat and have to worry about unlocking and locking each use.
Does not handle moisture very well when sealing
