1 prepared pizza crust (flatbread or homemade dough works great)
1/2 cup Thai peanut sauce *see recipe below
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
1/2 cup bean sprouts
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
Crushed red pepper (optional, for heat)
Instructions
Marinate the Dove: In a bowl, toss dove breasts with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Let sit for 15 minutes while you prep the other ingredients.
Assemble the Pizza: Spread Thai peanut sauce evenly over the crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Add minced dove, shredded carrots, cilantro, and red onions.
Grill or Bake:
Grill: Place pizza on a preheated grill (375–400°F) for 8–10 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is crisp.
Oven: Bake at 425°F on a pizza stone or sheet for 10–12 minutes.
Finish & Serve: Remove from heat. Top with more cilantro and bean sprouts. Sprinkle with crushed red pepper if you like heat. Slice and serve hot.
Chef’s Notes
Swap the peanut sauce for a sweet chili or sriracha-mayo blend if you want more spice.
Add a squeeze of lime over the finished pizza for brightness.
This pizza works great as a camp cookout dish — make the dough ahead of time, bring a cast-iron pan, and grill over the fire.
Thai Peanut Sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup coconut milk (or water for a lighter version)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp honey (or brown sugar)
2 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
1–2 tsp sriracha (adjust for spice level)
Pinch of crushed red pepper (optional, extra heat)
Instructions
Mix Ingredients: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk together peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, lime juice, ginger, garlic, and sriracha.
Heat Gently: Cook while whisking until smooth and slightly thickened (about 3–5 minutes). If too thick, add a splash more coconut milk or water until it reaches a spreadable consistency.
Taste & Adjust: Add more lime for brightness, honey for sweetness, or sriracha for heat. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before spreading on pizza dough.
